Welcome. Make yourself at home.

Building up in breaking down.

Building up in breaking down.

When you've been broken down,
Be like this tree.
Reach across
&Build something out of your brokenness.
Keep growing
&Find a way not only survive, but thrive.
Who knows whose deliverance could be wrapped up in your's?

I'm not sure who I'm writing this to, or for, maybe it's you - or maybe it's myself.

I'm not writing this to say be happy. I hate when people go on and on about how happiness is a choice - despite the fact that perspective, gratefulness, and resilience is a huge part of the process, sometimes God leaves things unhealed. Sometimes the darkness stays, and it leaves you feeling like something is wrong with you.

And that's okay.

It's okay to feel however you feel. It's okay to feel all of the things. It's okay to feel unsettled and unfinished, because you and your story are. But it says nothing about your worth.

If you know me at all, you know I'm a big believer of the process. One step at a time - it's still forward movement. &If you're going through hell, keep going.

"Any time you take a step to build anything, whether it’s to build your life, your faith, your marriage, any time you’re trying to make any type of progress in your life, you will get opposition. Jesus said that in the world, you will get tribulation. That’s a promise. Who knows how many people tried but stopped short of their destiny because they met some opposition?

Set your mind and keep it set. Regardless of how you feel.

You will have opposition but you will already winning. We are more than conquerers through Christ, and nothing can separate us from him and his love. At least if the enemy is coming at you, you’re doing something right and you need to keep on keepin’ on.

Before trouble comes, we already know how it’s going to end. It doesn’t mean we will enjoy going through it, but we know we will get to the other side. We are going through, we aren’t buried underneath. Whatever you’re going through right now, you’re going to make it. And you’re going to be a better person than you were when you went in...with more experience with the faithfulness of God, and more skilled in trusting God."
